Does anyone want to come to our house and pick some blueberries?
We have about ten million growing on our bushes and we are growing weary of picking and picking and picking….. So far, we have picked/frozen over 25 pounds of berries from our 6 bushes!
The girls just love to go out and pick them, too. Iliana can’t reach very many of the ripe ones, so she settles for eating the green ones – when I don’t have my eye on her. That child will eat almost anything! (Consequently, I haven’t shown her the little green tomatoes in my garden for that very reason. I’m afraid she would eat them all before they got the chance to ripen!)
I’ve been busy trying to think of things to use blueberries for in addition to blueberry pie and blueberry pancakes. Any yummy ideas?
We just love this property! The previous owners have done all the work and all we have to do is eat the food ….blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, mulberries, apples…. yum!
If you come to visit, I will bake you a pie…. hint, hint…..long lost siblings of mine! 
I’d LOVE to come out and pick some blueberries. We have to set a date to come up and bring the rabbit hutch to you and maybe we can pick some berries then! Yummy! How long does blueberry season last?
We’ve been picking the berries for about 3 weeks now and I’d say that we will still be picking for the next 1 to 2 weeks. Yum!
